As I celebrate being a quarter of the way through the 80 Pounds in 80 Weeks challenge, I am reminded of how long the process can be to change a lifestyle and accomplish lasting change. Because it is a journey you have to take one step at a time, success requires a lot of patience and perseverance.
Sometimes you have to be creative to keep yourself motivated. I have compiled 26 tips to keep you on track. I call them the ABC’s of Success.

In the last 20 weeks, I have had good days and tough days. There were times I didn’t think I could do it and thought about quitting. Changing an entire lifestyle can be overwhelming and even seem impossible at times. In those moments, I try to focus on just one thing.
Whenever you feel like you can’t do it, look at the list, and choose one of the ABC’s to tackle for the day. Don’t worry about the other ones until you feel like you can handle more. For the moment, only think about one. We can all do one thing for one day.
Eventually you will find that one day at a time, one item at a time you too can accomplish all of your goals. I can’t promise it will fly by or that it will be easy, but I am confident that you can do whatever you set your mind to. You will find success in your own way and your own time.
